PCI-Express Riser/Extender Test

Published: 7th Jul 2017, 08:48 GMT   Comments

This part is just for the demonstration that the hottest part of the riser is always the power lane. The highest temperature of the cheap riser is 37.5 degree C, while the premium cable is just 29.1 degree C. That’s quite a difference.

All thermal tests were conducted with GTX 1050 running Furmark.
