Yeston confirms the price and release date for its RTX 4080

First RTX 4080 GPU with white PCB launches on March 10.

Yeston RTX 4080 Sakura Sugar is the newest custom design that will soon be released through Newegg. The company has been relatively quiet about their expansion to the US market. In fact, they couldn’t deny or confirm that through direct communication with us.

Regardless of the agreements made with NVIDIA and AMD (the company is also selling almost identical RX 7900 XT model right now), this would be the first RTX 4080 GPU with a white PCB, but no longer exclusive feature. Earlier this week, GALAX have just announced their HOF RTX 4080 model which is equipped with a white PCB as well. While the design might be one of the most interesting things about this card, the price certainly is not one of them.

Newegg now lists the RTX 4080 Sakura at $1,399, which is actually $250 more than the cheapest new RTX 4080 cards now available through the same retailer. In fact, at this price, we are looking at the most expensive custom models currently sold at Newegg. Only two cards actually sell at higher price: AXGaming X3W and ASUS ROG STRIX OC.

Needless to say, this price is definitely not good for the RTX 4080. Especially since we are talking about a newcomer to the US market when RTX 40 series is considered. Although, the company has a wide range of RTX 20/30 models already, even listed at Newegg.

One should note that Radeon RX 7900 XT Sakura made a similar debut at a very high price of $1,199 only to be quickly discounted to $1,069 as is listed right now. According to the product page, RTX 4080 Sakura launches on March 10.
