XFX and EK prepare a custom liquid-cooled graphics card
Shannon Piel, XFX Sales Manager for North America, shared a render of the upcoming model from the company.
XFX is to enter a liquid-cooled graphics card business, it appears. The manufacturer has partnered up with Slovenian water block manufacturer, EK, to launch a fully custom solution branded by XFX. The graphics card is equipped with a full-size water block illuminated by ARGB lighting, judging from the render.
The name of the graphics card is currently unknown, so are the specs, pricing, and possible launch date, however, as noted by Piel, this launch signifies a milestone for XFX. By offering a custom model with preinstalled water block the company will enter other premium brands that already offer air-cooled and liquid-cooled solutions.
It is very likely that this model will feature AMD’s latest Navi 21 XTXH GPU which offers higher TGP and as a result higher clocks and performance.
More information on this card is to follow soon.
