Yes, as it tuns out this is the actual name of the graphics card, sadly. XFX might have improved their cooler design, but they still need to work on their naming.

It appears that the first-ever showcase of the new graphics card has been posted by Tech of Tomorrow. This exclusive unboxing features the new model based on RX 6800 XT SKU, the Navi 21 XT-based model from AMD. While the RX 6800XT was already released by AMD, and ‘theoretically’ it was available for sale, the custom models, such as Speedster is still under embargo in terms of reviews and sales. For now, only unboxing is allowed.

The XFX RX 6800 XT Speedster Merc 319 is a triple-fan design, with the center fan being smaller than the outer fans. It appears that the PCB is shorter than the cooler itself, with the last fan pushing air through the exposed heatsink.

XFX Speedster Merc 319 is a 2.5-slot design with two power connectors available. In terms of display connectivity, we have dual DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, and USB Type-C connector.

The graphics card features a large MERC logo on the backplate, which does not look great and it ruins the stealthy and luxury appeal of the new XFX model.

AMD is expected to lift the embargo on the custom Radeon RX 6800 XT series on November 25th.
