XFX RX 6900 XT Zero WB

XFX finally lunches its ultra-premium Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card with a preinstalled water block.

The ZERO WB is now among the fastest Radeon cards on the market. This new model puts XFX back into offering liquid-cooled solutions, as the card comes with a preinstalled water block with ARGB lighting designed by Slovenian EK.

The base of the block is CNC machined out of nickel-plated electrolytic copper while the top is CNC machined out of glass-like Acrylic. Sealing is ensured by high-quality EPDM O-Rings. The brass standoffs are already pre-installed and allow for a safe and easy installation procedure.

The RX 6900 XT Zero WB is a full custom solution with a CNC machined water block as well as a full custom board design with three 8-pin power connectors. While XFX does not provide typical board power for its design, we can already tell that it won’t be the most eco-friendly card on the market. The reference specs of RX 6900 XT require 300W of power, while most Navi 21 XTXH based designs, such as Zero WB, easily go past 350W.

ROPs : 128 Memory : 16 GB GDDR6 256b

The company promises 3 GHz OC frequencies when overclocked, but this claim does not state if this is a sustained clock rate or just a peak.

Interestingly, the company also announced a new Merc 319 model called ‘Limited Black’. This model does not appear to have the same board design (only two 8-pin power connectors), but the 3 GHz OC claim is sustained. The Merc 319 LB has a boost clock of 2495 MHz, 30 MHz lower than Zero WB. Both cards should appear in stores soon.
