A new theme for our site is here.

All bugs are intentional

The responsive design for mobile devices and ultra-wide displays

In response to the growing popularity of mobile devices, we have improved the experience for smaller screens. Additionally, our site will now be wider on bigger screens.

Lights off – introducing dark mode

We are introducing dark mode for the site. For desktop users, this is a manual choice, whereas for mobile devices the dark mode will engage automatically. GIve it a try, you will find the switch in the upper navigation menu. The settings will be saved in a cookie and will be remembered for as long as you have them saved in your browser.

New content – buzz stories

If you are reading this announcement on a desktop, then you should see a new sidebar to the left. This sidebar will show more stories than before. We call these the buzz stories. Those are smaller tidbits from the tech industry, which may sometimes appear on the social feeds (by default they won’t). Pay attention to that part of the site, but don’t worry, the most important stories will still be shared on social media and through our feeds.

Commenting rules

Our moderating team has worked hard to make your experience as pleasing as possible. We are also introducing new rules to our comment section. VideoCardz is a place for everyone, no matter which company you support, these rules are for you.

A promise

Our philosophy is that we want to see our site, just as we want to see the Internet. We do not block access to those who have adblockers, instead, we offer a readable experience to our readers who might consider supporting our site by not blocking them.

We promise never to show intrusive ads, there will be no requests to allow notifications, no annoying popups, and no sponsored articles.

Thank you for staying with us.
