Vastarmor Radeon RX 7000 series receive Navi 32 update

Chinese company Vastarmor formally introduced two of its Navi 32 GPUs.

Vastarmor, a Chinese graphics card manufacturer, has officially unveiled two new models: the RX 7800 XT Alloy and the RX 7700 XT Alloy Pro. These cards share an identical external design, differing only in their internal configurations of GPU and memory.

Both the RX 7800 XT Alloy and the RX 7700 XT Alloy Pro feature a robust cooling solution with a triple-fan and 2.5-slot design, measuring 32.8 cm in length, 13.2 cm in width, and 5.3 cm in height. Both models come with slight overclocking, which may result in higher power consumption compared to AMD’s reference specifications of 263W and 245W for the RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT SKUs, respectively.

Vastarmor has disclosed clock speeds for these cards, with the RX 7700 XT running at 1784/2276/2600 MHz (base/game/boost), and the RX 7800 XT configured at 1624/2254/2565 MHz. It’s noteworthy that the company provides base clock information, which is relatively rare. Nonetheless, this represents around 5 to 6% overclocking compared to AMD specs.

The RX 7800 XT Alloy boasts 3840 Stream Processors and 16GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit bus, while the RX 7700 XT utilizes a slightly scaled-down chip with 3540 cores and 12GB of GDDR6 memory across a 192-bit bus. Both cards incorporate 64MB of Infinity Cache.

In terms of power requirements, both cards maintain the dual 8-pin connectors, and Vastarmor recommends a minimum 700W PSU for either card. As standard, they come equipped with DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1 connectors.

These cards may not stand out in terms of specifications, but they do offer a unique feature in their fan design. The cooling system employs a 100+90+100 mm fan setup with a distinctive twist – small RGB lights are integrated into the fans themselves. As the fans spin, gamers will be treated to the mesmerizing sight of what can be described as RGB rings, hopefully nothing too hypnotic.

As mentioned, Vastarmor cards are only available in China. Prices start at 3999 RMB (545 USD) for RX 7700XT and 4499 RMB (612 USD) for RX 7800 XT.
