Thermalright announces a new cooling solution for next-gen SSDs. The HR10 2280 PRO is an updated version of the existing HR10 design with more heatpipes and a fan.
There are now four 5mm heatpipes and one 30x30x10mm 12V fan. This fan can operate at 3500 to 6000 RPM, meaning it will almost certainly be loud when reaching the thermal limit.
The SSD radiator is designed for NVMe SSDs in 2280 form factor and supports one and dual-sided storage. It measures 90.3×23.7×43.8 mm and can dissipate up to 45W of power.
The HR10 PRO is not the first design of this type for SSDs. The company developed HR9 and HR10 non-PRO radiators earlier, but a quick check on company’s SSD cooler portfolio shows that this is the first radiator that comes with a fan.
