JEDEC DDR5-6400 memory from TeamGroup

TeamGroup has released its new Elite Plus and Elite memory series featuring DDR5-6400 memory JEDEC standard.

The company announces that their newest desktop memory modules are just about to hit the market. The ELITE modules come with a JEDEC memory standard with 6400MT/s at 1.1V CL52-52-52-103 configuration. These are the first memory modules from TeamGroup to comply with this JEDEC standard.

As a reminder, TeamGroup was among the first companies to introduce DDR5-4800 MT/s JEDEC memory before Intel launched its 12th Gen Core “Alder Lake” series, now two years later, Intel is set to introduce its last LGA1700 series called “Raptor Lake Refresh” or 14th Gen Core series. The new Core series is expected to feature faster memory by default, increasing the bandwidth from the 13th Gen series of 5600 MT/s to 6400 MT/s.

Global memory brand TEAMGROUP announced the launch of its updated ELITE memory modules with enhanced frequencies today: the ELITE PLUS DDR5 and ELITE DDR5 Desktop Memory 6400MHz (1.1V CL52-52-52-103). Both comply with JEDEC memory standards and fulfill the needs of demanding applications and high-performance computing.

The vast majority of gamers will be looking at even faster kits, which, of course, rely on XMP 3.0 overclocking profiles, but offer much greater speed out of the box. The JEDEC compatible memory should become a memory of choice for system integrators and those preparing workstations or systems operating in businesses based on the newest Intel series.

According to TeamGroup, the new memory will hit the shelves next month in North America and Taiwan. There is no mention of availability outside these regions.
