Steam Deck now at $359
A one-week sale of games (and hardware) has just started on a Steam platform.
Starting from today until March 23, gamers will have a chance to buy Steam Deck at a lower price, and there is no need to wait long for delivery.
As Valve has worked through all supply issues over the past year, the availability of Steam Deck has never been better. In fact, as the company marks one year of the product market launch, all models Deck models have been discounted by 10%. What this essential means is that Valve’s first handheld gaming console can now be purchased for just $359.
Steam Deck 256GB version now goes for $476 and the most capable model with 512GB storage and anti-glare screen can now be found at $584. The entry 64GB model with eMMC memory is of course, the best deal right now, especially compared to what competitors have in store, but this version will require manual storage expansion if anything modern is to be installed. That said, the 256GB model should be a much better deal for gamers who want the best experience out of the box, but would rather not spend more than $500.

The money that would otherwise be spent on a console may be used on games. Steam has a list of 100 most popular titles for the console, and many of them are currently heavily discounted. Gamers should look for Deck-verified games to get the best experience, but this shouldn’t be a problem as there are already 8000 games officially compatible and playable on the console.
As a reminder, this product is equipped with an AMD custom SoC with Zen2 and RDNA2 architecture. This processor may not be as powerful as Ryzen 6800U-based consoles, but it is undoubtedly significantly cheaper than such devices.
