Cooler Master Sneaker X launches on CMODX

Sneaker X, a creation by the JMDF PC modding group, earned the prestigious Best Art Award at the “Case Mod World Series 2020.” This eye-catching system made its grand debut at Computex 2023, and the overwhelming interest it generated has far exceeded expectations. Consequently, the company is now making this extraordinary system available to a wider audience.

The Sneaker X boasts a complete PC setup, featuring a Mini-ITX motherboard with a choice of Intel Z790/B760 or AMD X670/B650 motherboard options. This versatile system offers compatibility with four different CPUs: the i7-13700K, i9-13900K, 7800X3D, or 7950X3D. In terms of graphics, it offers options such as the RTX 4070, RTX 4070 Ti, and RTX 4080. It comes equipped with a generous 2TB of storage and offers either 32GB or 64GB of DDR5 memory. To keep things running smoothly, it relies on a Cooler Master liquid cooler (MasterLiquid PL360 Flux) and is powered by an 850W power supply from the same reputable company.

  • AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, RTX 4070 Ti, 2TB, 32GB DDR5, 850W: €3,499

Initially, there were reports suggesting that the system’s launch price might exceed $6,000. However, the final pricing has been set at a more ‘accessible’ level. The Sneaker X is available in two tiers: Enthusiast and Professional, with the specific system specifications varying depending on the region and the choice of either AMD or Intel hardware. While it’s undeniable that this is not a budget-friendly system, its price range in the US spans from $3,499 to $3,799, and in Europe, it ranges from €3,499 to €4,699. This is approximately €1000 more than a similarly spec’ed system in a standard PC chassis.

This system is primarily aimed at gamers who appreciate attention-grabbing designs that truly stand out. It has been crafted as a collector’s item, utilizing unique and premium materials. In terms of size, the Sneaker X is surprisingly spacious, measuring 65cm x 30.5cm x 65cm, allowing lots of room for a 360 mm radiator at the bottom and accommodating 3-slot high-end GPUs with ease.

The system was reviewed by Techtesters in July, but it is only now available on sale through the official Cooler Master store called CMODX.
