Sapphire RX 7900 Pulse series

The next-gen PULSE GPUs look just like old-gen.

The RX 7900 XTX and RX 7900 XT PULSE graphics cards looks very much alike their predecessors, although technically, there wasn’t any. Sapphire did not release RX 6900/6950XT PULSE GPUs, but there was a RX 6800XT model featuring the same “Big Navi” processor.

For RDNA3 launch Sapphire will finally be introducing PULSE series for their X900 product line. The cards are 2.7-slot design and feature updated fan design – it looks to be the same axial fan as RX7900 NITRO+.

It is hard to tell with the limited information we have right now, but Sapphire RX 7900 PULSE series might actually be using NITRO+ board design as well, but in this case, Sapphire removed one of the 8-pin power connector for PULSE SKUs. One can clearly see this on the pictures below.

Sapphire RX 7900 PULSE cards are always cheaper than NITRO+ and they should have more in store than AMD’s own reference design. However, we are not aware of any reviewer who already has one of these cards, so there might actually be no ‘heart beat’ on launch after all.
