Redditor TeknoMage13 show off his custom painted RTX 4080 graphics card.

That’s an expensive modification for sure. Custom paint on a high-end GPU means that the warranty is now void. This did not scare off TeknoMage who still took the challenge to make his graphics card unique.

Not often do we see brand new RTX 40 GPUs being modded by casual gamers. It goes without saying but GPU modding is typically an irreversible process (but it really depends on how far the modification go). Once the paint is changed, that means no warranty. Furthermore, to do it right, the card needs to be taken apart.

Such warnings were no problem for TeknoMage13, and luckily for him, there are many guides online how to do it carefully. The card was painted with white primer but without removing the heatsink. This means that no thermal pads or compound were compromised.

Such GPU will match TeknoMage’s new build. Redditor now awaits NZXT N7 B650E motherboard which is also white and AMD’s Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor to make a perfect trio.
