Modded NVIDIA RTX 3060 looks like Mini-ITX Founders Edition
Redditor Clashmains_2 came up with an idea to create its own Mini-ITX design inspired by NVIDIA Founders Edition based on GeForce RTX 3060 SKU.

Taking inspiration from NVIDIA Founders Edition designs, a Redditor purchased a 3D printer and embarked on a project to create a custom shroud that would match the NVIDIA reference design. He used a Gainward RTX 3060 Pegasus graphics card, which already had a Mini-ITX form factor with a single fan. The only remaining task was to design a shroud that could conceal the heatsink and accommodate the fan.
To enhance the cooling performance, the Redditor opted for a 92mm Noctua fan as a replacement for the original 90mm fan from Gainward. It was explained that since the card was being used in a vertical position, a backplate was not currently necessary but could be added later if desired.

The resulting cooler looked impressive, showcasing the Redditor’s creativity that could possibly inspire NVIDIA. However, like any project, it faced a few challenges. The heatsink of the card tended to heat up significantly, causing deformations in the PLA shroud. It was noted that using a more heat-resistant material would be a wiser choice for future coolers. Nevertheless, this Redditor seems determined to continue refining their designs and creating more impressive coolers in the future.
