Raja Koduri leaves Intel
Raja Koduri, the former head of the Intel’s AXG unit is leaving Intel by the end of March.
As part of the company’s reorganization, Intel has decided to part ways with Raja Koduri who was Executive Vice President and Chief Architect. According to Intel CEO, Pat Gelsinger, Koduri will leave Intel by the end of this month.
Koduri has worked at Apple and AMD, leading the Radeon Technologies Group and delivering GPU architectures like Polaris. Shortly after, he announces that he will join Intel and eventually became the head of the AXG business unit. In December last year, Intel has dismantled the group and moved Koduri back to his previous role as Chief Architect.

Even though the Arc Alchemist GPU series has been delayed by months, Intel refuted the rumors about potential cancellations of their discrete GPU plans. The company remains committed to the roadmap and is now working on Battlemage GPU series.
Intel hired Koduri 6 years ago, and it looks like his plans will now focus on the software. Koduri will share more on this subject in the coming weeks.
