Chinese graphics card supplier reportedly expects first GeForce RTX 40 shipment in less than a month

According to Ilya Korneychuk from PRO Hi-Tech, their video card supplier from China is now expecting the first batch of RTX 40 graphics cards in less than a month.

During PRO Hi-Tech tech news roundup it is mentioned that their Chinese GPU supplier expects the first batch of GeForce RTX 40 series in less than a month. They did not specify if this is a retailer or distributor, but they do mention that this means the card should be physically available in September.

Although there are many rumors about potential RTX 40 release date, this is probably the first time that any company mentions anything about next-gen GPU shipment.

Board partners that we talked to are not so eager to give estimates about RTX 40 shipments. In fact, we have not heard any claims about early availability yet. Their focus on is now on excess inventory of GeForce RTX 30 cards.

All that said, we think that this rumor is not true and there are still many weeks for any card to ship to distributors. According to Igor’sLAB RTX 40 launch schedule, the mass production of AD102 card should start between August and September. That means that RTX 40 cards may start shipping to retailers 3 weeks later at earliest.
