PELADN introduces sleek GeForce RTX 4080 ARMOUR
Chinese GPU maker introduces its first high-end NVIDIA GPU.
The graphics card manufacturer has a significant gap to bridge in order to compete with major brands in terms of product releases. The company entered the market later than others, initially introducing the RTX 4070 model, followed by the release of the RX 6500 XT 8GB. However, there is still no sign of the Radeon RX 7000 models.
Despite maintaining a relatively low-profile presence in the market, the company has already developed a new design for the RTX 4080 model. This design is inspired by the RX 6500XT and belongs to the new ARMOUR series. The RTX 4080 has a larger form factor, featuring an additional fan, but its core design principles remain similar.

The RTX 4080 utilizes the NVIDIA AD103 GPU with 9728 CUDA cores, and it retains the stock settings without any changes to the clocks or TDP as per official specifications. The card boasts 16GB of GDDR6X memory clocked at 22.4 Gbps and requires 320W of power during gaming sessions.
In terms of physical dimensions, the RTX 4080 is a three-slot high card (65 mm) with a length of 340 mm, placing it on the larger side of the custom RTX 40 design spectrum. It comes equipped with three axial fans featuring a new blade design. Interestingly, PELAND’s design omits any RGB features, resulting in a stealthy yet modern aesthetic.

Regarding availability, PELAND appears to focus less on the international market, which raises concerns about its widespread distribution. However, some sales channels in the US, such as Newegg, may offer their products. As of now, this particular model, along with other recent releases, has not yet been listed on Newegg.
