Intel 14th Gen Core specs confirmed by motherboard makers
Although the entire lineup is widely known, this marks the initial confirmation of upcoming CPU clock speeds and cache sizes.
Just to recap, Intel ‘accidentally’ disclosed its complete 14th Gen Core series lineup before the official market release. Earlier this week, the company announced and made available its 125W Core K-series of unlocked Raptor Lake Refresh series. However, those SKUs with lower TDP and locked overclocking capabilities are not anticipated to be available until next year.
Intel had previously published a list of these CPUs on its PCN website (Product Change Notification), but that list only included the SKU names and product codes without additional details. Gigabyte and NZXT have come to the rescue by providing the same list of CPUs along with their base frequencies and cache sizes. This information was brought to light by hardware detective @momomo_us.

The specifications listed are mostly consistent between both sources, verifying the base clock (but no turbo clock), cache size, TDP, and, notably, the silicon revisions. In this regard, it appears that the Core i5-14400 will indeed be launched with C0 and B0 dies, although one of the lists displays only C0. For other models, the majority will utilize the B0 die, with the 14500/14400 and lower-range CPUs featuring C0 silicon as well. There are also some minor differences between the two lists, such as the Core i5-14500T being listed with B0 in one and C0 in the other.

Intel has not yet officially confirmed the existence of its 6.2 GHz processor, the Core i9-14900KS, as neither the company nor any motherboard manufacturer has listed this component thus far. However, these special edition processors usually adhere to Intel’s historical launch pattern and are expected to be released in late Q1, so it is understandable that it is missing from both lists.
In total, the complete 14th Generation Core processor lineup now comprises 24 different models, six of which belong to the K-series. The upcoming non-K models are often popular choices among gamers on a budget, system integrators, and individuals within the community who simply aren’t interested in overclocking. There are also 35W models known as Core-T, commonly found in Mini-PCs, All-in-One (AIO) systems, and embedded systems.
