NVIDIA to announce GeForce RTX 3080 Ti on May 18th?

NVIDIA is now expected to unveil its RTX 3080 Ti graphics card on May 18th

According to a forum post, NVIDIA has now declared when the RTX 3080 Ti graphics card will be announced. 

ITHome reports on a forum post from Expreview forums. These forums are no longer public, so this is pretty much the only way to see what is being shared there. According to one of the posts, NVIDIA has now provided a full launch scheduled for its RTX 3080 Ti graphics card.

It is alleged that GeForce RTX 3080 Ti will be announced on May 18th with reviews going up a week later on May 25th. The previous date that was reported, May 26th is actually a release date, which in this case means “availability” in stores.

The specifications of the RTX 3080 Ti are no longer a secret to anyone. The graphics card will utilize Ampere GA102-225 GPU with 10240 CUDA cores. The GPU will be attached to 12GB GDDR6X memory clocked at 19 Gbps. This means that the graphic card will have 912 GB/s bandwidth, a 152 GB/s upgrade over RTX 3080.
