GeForce Garage shows off a custom RTX 3080 in Overwatch theme
It has been months since we last saw a custom RTX 3080 graphics card from NVIDIA.
Graphics card modding is still relatively a niche hobby. After all, painting over ultra-expensive hardware will only lead to a voided warranty, not something we want to happen to our precious graphics cards. Well, unless you are NVIDIA and you have access to an unlimited number of samples.
NVIDIA GeForce China has commissioned a custom GeForce RTX 3080 Founders Edition with a theme from the Overwatch game. The graphics card has been painted in gold and it received numerous Overwatch logos. There is even a face of Tracer character on the backplate.
This is not the first Founders Edition which was customized by NVIDIA themselves. A few months ago, NVIDIA China also was giving away a custom RTX 3080 with Cyberpunk 2077 theme. Both cards were designed by modders from the GeForce Garage program.
