Palit RTX 4090 now available for €1599

Two weeks ago, we reported that NVIDIA had lowered the price for its RTX 4090 Founders Edition to €1769, which is now 9% cheaper than the original MSRP from 2022 (€1949). What is important is that the Founders Edition is typically much pricier than custom cards such as Palit RTX 4090 GameRock. At the time, this custom card was available for €1644, so already €100 cheaper than the NVIDIA reference design.

Today Mindfactory lowered the price for exactly this model to €1599, which is now 18% cheaper than the original MSRP. The card is now available under the retailer’s “Mindstar” promotion, which means that to see this offer one must visit the main site first and then check the proper section.

Lowest GeForce RTX 4090 Price (Germany) vs NVIDIA MSRP:

  • NVIDIA RTX 4090 Founders Edition
    • €1949 (original 2022 MSRP)  October
    • €1859 (-4.6%) February
    • €1819 (-6.7%) March
    • €1769 (-9.2%) May
  • Palit RTX 4090 GameRock
    • €2019 (+3.5%) October
    • €2325 (+19.3%) November
    • €1869 (-4.1%) February
    • €1749 (-10%) March
    • €1644 (-15.6%) 2nd May
    • €1599 (-18.0%) 17th May

Initial price cuts were heavily influenced by higher EUR/USD exchange rates, but at this point it is rather the change of consumers interest to mid-range SKUs. Exactly for this reason, NVIDIA will soon launch its RTX 4060 Ti graphics card. It does not seem that anything can stop the price drop at this point.
