Geekbench entry lists upcoming RTX 4080 Laptop GPU from NVIDIA.

According to the latest Geekbench entry, Acer is preparing a high-end gaming Acer Predator PH16-71 laptop with Core i9-13900HX 24-core Raptor Lake processors paired with NVIDIA RTX 4080 Laptop GPU. This leak is the first confirmation of these GPU specs and likely proof that reviewers are already testing such systems ahead of a January announcement.

It is further revealed that the AD104-based mobile graphics features 58 Compute Units (Streaming Multiprocessors), which gives a total of 7424 CUDA cores. The entry also confirms the memory spec featuring 12GB memory The maximum GPU clock was reportedly reaching 2.01 GHz, which gives 29.7 TFLOPs of single-precision compute performance.

The GPU was tested with OpenCL API, which is not necessarily associated with gaming. However, we can still compare this metric to the existing RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU which scores 136008 points, this shows that RTX 4080 is at least 30% faster than the flagship mobile Ampere GPU and 42% faster than RTX 3080 in the same benchmark.
