NVIDIA lowers the price of AD104-400 desktop GPU
The RTX 4070 Ti, a rebranded RTX 4080 12GB will launch at $799.
We now have a confirmation on GeForce RTX 4070 Ti price, the card will be $400 cheaper than RTX 4080.
According to the official slide from tomorrow’s presentation, the RTX 4070 Ti is to offer 40 TFLOPs of single precision compute performance at $799. This is the MSRP for the card that will launch only as a partner card, with no Founders Edition planned.
NVIDIA confirms that RTX 4070 Ti is ‘faster than RTX 3090 Ti’, but the slide does not really explain how. The leaked 3DMark performance figures may give us a hint, though. The card is based on Ada Lovelace architecture, and it is a third GPU to support DLSS3 upscaling tech.
The RTX 4070 Ti features full AD104 GPU with 7680 CUDA cores. This card is equipped with 12GB of GDDR6X memory, and it is rated for 285W TDP as per official specs. These are indeed the same specifications as the GeForce RTX 4080 12GB GPU before it was cancelled by NVIDIA.
NVIDIA confirms that RTX 4070 Ti will be available starting from January 5th. The company is to announce the card at CES 2023 presentation which starts in less than 24 hours.
