NVIDIA RTX 4060 Ti to get 16GB option on July 18th

Two reputable hardware leakers have confirmed that the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB will be launching in less than two weeks.

Based on the latest information, the RTX 4060 Ti, featuring an increased memory buffer, is scheduled to hit the shelves on July 18th. This date signifies the availability for order, shipping, and global distribution of each model. However, details regarding the review embargo have yet to be revealed.

Previously released with 8GB of memory, the RTX 4060 Ti received a lukewarm reception from gamers, mainly due to its steep price tag of $399. The version with double the memory capacity has already been confirmed to cost $499, and there is no indication that NVIDIA intends to make any price adjustments prior to the launch of the new model.

In the midst of this, AMD has remained notably silent regarding updates to their mid-range offerings, leaving NVIDIA without any competition from the RDNA3 family. Additionally, leaked roadmaps have failed to provide any hints about the arrival of the updated Intel Alchemist+ GPUs, further solidifying NVIDIA’s position in the market.

Just like the RTX 4060 non-Ti, the updated Ti model with 16GB memory will be an AIB-exclusive model. In other words, there will be no Founders Edition from NVIDIA.
