NVIDIA to announce three RTX 4060 cards this month

NVIDIA sets the date for RTX 4060 Ti launch.

A quick follow-up to the last story on RTX 4060 series. Our sources have confirmed that NVIDIA will launch three cards in the next 10 weeks or so, but interestingly, all three should be announced this month. The company has provided update launch schedule for all RTX 4060 GPUs, and although it is a bit early to talk dates for all cards, it appears that the July RTX 40 launch will be split between two SKUs.

(Updated) GeForce RTX 4060 launch schedule

  • RTX 4060 Ti 8G: Announcement: Mid-May, Release: May 24th
  • RTX 4060 Ti 16G: Announcement: Mid-May, Release: 2H July
  • RTX 4060 8G: Announcement: Mid-May, Release 1H July

According to our source, the RTX 4060 Ti 8GB will launch on May 24th, which is the day before AMD launches its Radeon RX 7600 GPU and the same day AMD lifts the embargo on reviews of this new Navi 33 based Radeon GPU. It will no doubt be a week of mid-range GPUs and a busy time for reviewers.

The RTX 4060 non-Ti is now scheduled for the first half of July, while the 16GB version of RTX 4060 Ti is now expected in the second half. The 16GB version is confirmed, but we must remember that NVIDIA often changes its roadmaps. Anything that has not been announced is prone to changes, in fact, in some cases even announced products can be ‘unlaunched’.
