Proshop lists RTX 4060 at a high price

It is probably better to grab RTX 4060 Ti at this point.

NVIDIA RTX 4060 is an entry-level GPU with a TDP of just 115W. Sadly, this memo wasn’t delivered to ASUS on time, who came up with a massive 2.75 slot design with three fans. The ASUS RTX 4060 ROG Strix is currently listed by Proshop in Finland at 490-500 EUR. Generally speaking, ASUS RTX 40 GPU pricing is always on a high side, but those prices almost look like a placeholder.

On the other hand, the Gigabyte pricing appears to match expectations with the cheapest model going for around 350 EUR. Naturally, even Gigabyte had to make a premium AORUS model which costs just about as much as some custom RTX 4060 Ti. The AORUS RTX 4060 Elite may be a tough sell at 420 EUR.

As a reminder, RTX 4060 graphics card will not feature a Founders Edition, meaning that the only way to purchase of these cards is through a board partner. The good news is that there are plenty of other brands which are typically cheaper than ASUS and Gigabyte.

Regardless, the RTX 4060 Ti was not a great deal already at €439, so pushing RTX 4060 close to €400 seems to be a terrible idea. The only way to know is to wait for launch reviews and gamers reaction next week, the RTX 4060 non-Ti launches on next Thursday.
