NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti get a release date

According to HKEPC, NVIDIA has set new release dates for its new GeForce RTX 30 graphics cards.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is now scheduled to launch on May 25th (Tuesday), while GeForce RTX 3070 Ti is now expected in early June according to HKEPC. If these dates are true, then it would appear that NVIDIA has finally decided to communicate launch dates to its board partners. Previously NVIDIA only communicated May for both SKUs. It would appear that RTX 3070 Ti has been pushed back though and we should now not expect a launch of two Ti variants at the same time.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is a new GA102-225 GPU based model for enthusiasts. We already know it features 10240 CUDA cores and 12GB GDDR6X memory, which is indeed more than RTX 3080, but also half of what the flagship RTX 3090 offers. This model is expected to cost around 999 USD.

The RTX 3070 Ti is GA104-400 based model with 6144 CUDA cores. This means that the SKU features full GA104 silicon, just as the mobile RTX 3080 graphics card does. although this SKU is still expected to feature 8GB of memory, it will be upgraded to GDDR6X technology. According to HKEPC, RTX 3070 Ti would launch in early June.

Please note that these dates are not yet confirmed, but we have already reached out to our sources for confirmation.
