We have some fresh pictures of GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER gets 8GB memory
The upgraded RTX 2060S gets 8GB memory, a 2GB extra over 6GB non-Super variant. A wider bus will increase the maximum theoretical bandwidth. This mid-range model will retail at $399 USD, an extra $50 USD over its predecessor.
This card will compete against Radeon RX 5700 non-XT featuring Navi 10 GPU. The 8GB model is certainly going to look better in side-by-side comparisons. The rest of the TU106 stack, featuring RTX 2060 non-S, GTX 1660 Ti and GTX 1660, are all 6GB models.
The RTX 2060 SUPER has fewer FP32 cores than RX 5700 non-XT (2304 vs 2176) and slightly lower clocks. Both cards are 8GB 256-bit and GDDR6-based cards and have power output at 175-180W. The RTX 2060S is also $20 USD more expensive than the Navi model.
NVIDIA RTX 2060 SUPER will be announced on July 2nd with availability planned for July 9th.
