NVIDIA GTX 1630 has a new (third) launch date

According to ITHome, NVIDIA has set a new launch date for its GTX 1630 graphics cards.

The GTX 1630 is a new entry-level graphics cards based on Turing architecture. This graphics card was first expected to launch by the end of May, however the launch date has been pushed back twice already. ITHome claims that the launch date has now been set o June 28th, which is when these cards will become available.

The original source of this information is Chinese Board Channels forum, where a notice from Colorful graphics card factory was posted. This post alleges that GTX 1630 should launch on this day, but it may still be a subject to change.

NVIDIA’s new GTX 1630 graphics card is said to feature a TU117-150 GPU with 512 CUDA cores. In comparison to GTX 1650, the memory bus would be limited to 64-bit from 128-bit, but the capacity would remain the same (4GB). The TDP of 75W should not change either, which means we are likely to see custom designs without external power connector and probably limited overclocking capability.

Some Chinese retailers claim that the initial shipment of GTX 1630 cards is already on its way and expected MSRP is around 1000 RMB (~150 USD). We have already reached out to our sources for confirmation on the launch date.
