GeForce RTX: Game On – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 mobile

NVIDIA has just teased what will be shown during GeForce RTX: Game On event next week.

The first two pictures that appeared in a video teaser shows a gaming laptop and GeForce RTX discrete graphics card in a mobile form factor. The exact GPU model appears to be GA104, which is rumored for RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 mobile series. Both cards will feature 8GB GDDR6 memory (hence 8 modules), however, the RTX 3080 Mobile will also be available with 16GB capacity.

The picture on the right side appears to confirm NVIDIA will showcase resizeable base address registry (ReSize BAR) functionality on laptops.

The teaser also briefly shows an upcoming game called Outriders (picture on the right below) developed by People Can Fly. The game will be released on April 1st, but a free demo will be released on February 25th. The teaser may indicate that the game will feature NVIDIA technology.

The picture on the left appears to show the GeForce RTX logo, which kind of looks like a side of a desktop reference Ampere graphics card. It is speculated that the RTX 3060 12GB might be shown at the event, so this could be a teaser of a Founders Edition card.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX: Game On is an upcoming event that will go live on January 12 at 9 AM PST. It will be streamed on Twitch and YouTube.
