NVIDIA GeForce Beyond event next week

NVIDIA reconfirms its plans for CES 2023.

According to what we know, the event will primarily focus on GeForce RTX 40 mobile graphics. This includes RTX 4090, 4080, 4070 and possibly the mid-range series as well. Just today there was a leak confirming the specs of the RTX 4080 Laptop GPU specs.

Furthermore, NVIDIA is to (re)introduced its desktop GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics card. This is the same card that was canceled as RTX 4080 12GB around 2 months ago. NVIDIA realized that having two cards sharing the same product name, but much different performance level was confusing enough to postpone and rename the GPU.

It is expected that mobile RTX 40 series are to launch in early January just as laptop makers will start revealing their laptop designs. When it comes to desktop 4070 Ti model, this card is to launch on January 5th, so just 2 days after the official announcement at “GeForce Beyond” event.

The event is now planned for January 3rd at 8AM PT. Gamers can watch the event through official Twitch or YouTube accounts.
