NVIDIA CEO to provide ‘news-packed’ keynote in September

Jensen Huang will take the stage on September 20th.

No more kitchen keynotes. NVIDIA CEO will take the stage and provide the latest news during GTC 2022 in September. The latest keynote was announced more than a week ago, but it now has a date and time.

Jensen confirmed he will be sharing news regarding the new architecture during this keynote. It is not clear whether this means just general overview or specific products, but in any case one should not expect big GeForce updates there.

NVIDIA tends to announce separate events for gaming series, especially for first models to launch. This should be the case with RTX 40 series as well. The last event was on September 1st in 2020 and was devoted exclusively to GeForce RTX 30 series.

Officially, the primary topic for this keynote is “AI strategy for Business Leaders”, which does not sound very fascinating for gamers. However, GTC is more than just one keynote. It’s a 3 days long event during which participants at different stages of their careers can sign up for 135 sessions from topics such as AI, HPC or quantum-accelerated super computers. They can learn more about new graphics technologies or establishing new partnerships.

NVIDIA announced that Huang’s keynote will be livestreamed, and no registration will be required. The keynote starts at 8AM PT or 5PM CEST on September 20.
