TAITRA names Jensen Huang as Computex 2023 Keynote Speaker, no mention of AMD (yet)
Computex returns in full glory on May 30th.
We are just one and a half months away from Computex kicking off this year. This will be the first show in 3 years without major COVID-19-related restrictions on visitors, opening the entrances wide to journalists and hardware enthusiasts from around the world.
The Computex 2023 starts on May 30th and will last until June 2nd, so almost a full week of new hardware presentations and keynotes are planned. Companies like AMD or NVIDIA typically have their events planned around the same time, but they are not always part of the Computex show officially.
NVIDIA co-founder and CEO Jensen Huang will host this year’s Computex keynote. It is set for May 29, so it should be considered an Opening Keynote before Computex officially starts a day later.

COMPUTEX 2023 Keynote, organized by TAITRA, invites international technology giants to join the discussion, including Jensen Huang, the Founder and CEO of NVIDIA. Huang was named Time’s 100 Most Influential People of 2021 and received the Distinguished Lifetime Achievement Award from AAEOY in 2021. At NVIDIA’s annual GTC conference in March 2023, he unveiled new products and partnerships that will accelerate the adoption of generative AI. He also announced cuLitho, a computational lithography library, that will help semiconductor foundries like TSMC manufacture next generation chips.
Other distinguished speakers include Alex Katouzian, SVP & GM, Mobile, Compute, XR (MCX), and Kedar Kondap, SVP and GM, Compute and Gaming from Qualcomm, Rafael Sotomayor, Executive VP and GM, Secure Connected Edge from NXP Semiconductors, Jason Chen, Chairman & CEO of Acer, and Charles Liang, Founder, President and CEO of Supermicro. They will personally share the latest developments in global key technologies and how technology innovation can change the world.

Among topics listed for the keynote, we see “the latest advancements in gaming, accelerated computing, industrial digitalization, and generative AI”. It wouldn’t be entirely unusual for Jensen to announce a new product there, but with the expected launch of the GeForce RTX 4060 series in May, one might wonder if the late Computex Keynote is a good time and place for that.
