NVIDIA introduces GeForce RTX 30 mobile GPUs
NVIDIA today unveiled its Ampere-based GeForce RTX 30 mobile series. The company introduced three graphics cards designed for different price segments and desired gameplay experience.
The flagship GeForce RTX 3080 graphics cards will feature GA104 GPU with 6144 CUDA cores and up to 16GB of GDDR6 memory. This GPU will be used by high-end gaming laptops offering 100+ FPS in 1440p gaming at Ultra quality. The RTX 3070 for laptops will feature 5120 CUDA Cores and 8GB of GDDR6 memory. This graphics card will be offered in high-end gaming laptops offering at least 90 FPS in 1440p gaming. Finally, the RTX 3060 mobile will be based on GA106 GPU with 3840 CUDA cores and 6GB memory. This GPU is aiming at 999 USD gaming laptops and 1080p gameplay.
NVIDIA announces today that laptops featuring GeForce RTX 30 mobile GPUs will become available starting from January 26th.

NVIDIA confirmed that their new GPUs will support Resizable BAR, a technology that allows CPUs to utilize the full memory of the graphics cards. This feature will initially be available to Intel Tiger Lake-H35 CPUs.
