NVIDIA RTX 4070 with AD104 GPU
Another confirmation of the RTX 4070 rumored specs.
MEGAsizeGPU has just shared the very first picture of NVIDIA’s AD104-250 GPU. This processor is known to be used by the upcoming GeForce RTX 4070 desktop card which is set to launch in 2 months.
The RTX 4070 GPU is said to offer 5888 CUDA cores, which means that unlike RTX 4070 Ti, this model will be using a cut-down GPU with 1792 cores disabled. However, as long as rumors are to be believed, this card should still use the same memory configuration of the Ti model, which is 12GB GDDR6X across a 192-bit bus.

The AD104-250 is one of the two variants that will be used for this NVIDIA SKU specifically. There is also a ‘251’ model with enabled missing functionality of the board (voltage comparator), but should make no difference to end users.

It was speculated that RTX 4070 should enter mass production in February, but the card should launch no sooner than April as per our information. NVIDIA also has plans for RTX 4060 Ti which is using AD106-350 GPU, but as far as we can tell, this card should appear later.
