MSI teases carbon-fibre GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Lightning Z

MSI has started teasing upcoming Lightning Z.

The thunder strikes again

We have been discussing this product for quite a while, probably because the series have always been associated with a super high-end market for extreme overclockers, a true niche for enthusiasts. MSI’s Lightning is always late to the party. These cards take time to develop, it takes time to find the best chips. So naturally, these cards are interesting.

The teaser posted by MSI Japan indicated that the backplate will be covered in carbon-fiber texture. This is the first official picture of the new card. We have already shared the nonofficial ones, where overclockers uploaded bare PCB pics to HWBOT database.

The MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Lightning Z will be unveiled at CES 2019 in just a couple of days.
