MSI shows off Radeon RX 5700 XT MECH (again)

MSI confirmed during the Insider webstream that custom Radeon RX 5700 series will launch in August.

Just 10 days ago we wrote about custom Navi series from MSI. The list included seven models, featuring GAMING, MECH, AIR Boost, and brand new EVOKE series. As it turns out, there are actually eight cards in the works, including EVOKE series for the non-XT variant, which was missing on the original slide.

As it was explained, the picture that was released with the MECH series slide was not the final product, but a placeholder. In other words, the red-black cooler design will not be available for the Navi series, at least not under the MECH brand.

The actual RX 5700 XT Mech design can be seen below. The cooler is based on Ventus series. An educated guess would be that there won’t be a VENTUS RX 5000 card at this point, at least not with the same design as MECH.

It was also mentioned that the RX 5700 GAMING series won’t be available till September and the rest of the custom lineup should be expected in late August.
