MSI preparing GeForce RTX 3090, RTX 3080 ‘CORSAIR’ and ‘SUPRIM’ series

MSI is developing another two models for GeForce RTX 30 graphics card series.

The SUPRIM and CORSAIR series are coming. The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) website confirms MSI is in the development of two new series for Ampere graphics cards.

The SUPRIM series is a big unknown because the manufacturer has never released graphics cards under such a brand. The listing reveals that MSI will launch SUPRIM cards for all RTX 30 SKUs: RTX 3090, RTX 3080, and RTX 3070. Two models are to be expected: SUPRIM and SPRIM X (factory-overclocked). Since AERO cards are nowhere to be seen, it is possible that SUPRIM will launch as the entry-level series.

MSI is also preparing to launch CORSAIR RTX 3090 and RTX 3080 graphics cards. The Graphics card manufacturer and Corsair have been cooperating in the past in the development of the Sea Hawk series with All-in-One cooling (Corsair’s name is HYDRO GFX). It appears that both manufacturers agreed on a single name that features both brands.

The listing also confirmed MSI will launch RTX 3070 GAMING series. MSI already announced its GAMING TRIO series for RTX 3070 graphics cards. The GAMING non-TRIO are dual-fan series.

MSI is set to officially launch its GeForce RTX 3080 graphics cards on September 17th, with GeForce RTX 3090 models coming September 24th. The custom GeForce RTX 3070 cards are to be expected on October 15th, which is the official launch date for the SKU.
