MSI RTX 4070 VENTUS 2X now available in white
MSI is expanding its portfolio with another white design for RTX 40 series.
While MSI hasn’t made any official announcements regarding the Radeon RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT launch, it’s abundantly clear that the graphics card manufacturer is heavily invested in its GeForce RTX 40 series lineup. Among the various offerings, MSI has introduced the GAMING SLIM series and the all-new white RTX 4070 Ventus 2X. Currently, MSI lists a staggering 79 different models based on the RTX 40 series, whereas their Radeon RX 7000 series offerings are notably limited, comprising just four models.
The latest addition to MSI’s ever-expanding collection is the VENTUS 2X WHITE based on 200W RTX 4070 SKU. Interestingly, this isn’t the first time MSI has introduced a dual-fan RTX 4070 under the Ventus 2X brand, having previously launched models with a sleek black and silver color scheme. What’s noteworthy here is MSI’s move to diversify its portfolio by introducing three distinct color options: black (available in both GAMING and VENTUS variants), white (likewise in GAMING and VENTUS variants), and silver (under the SUPRIM series).
The revamped Ventus White series maintains identical clock speeds to their original black counterparts, offering two variants with either 2490 MHz or 2520 MHz clock speeds (which can be fine-tuned using MSI software). That said, this update primarily involves a color change, with the cooler design and specs remaining unchanged.
As a reminder, the cooler is equipped with dual Torx 4.0 fans, a dual-slot form factor measuring 24.2×12.5cm, and an impressively lightweight build, tipping the scales at just 672 grams. For context, this weight is more than twice as light as the GAMING SLIM models,
The MSI RTX 4070 VENTUS 2X White can now be found on Newegg for $549.
