MSI RTX 3080 SUPRIM X leaks ahead of launch

MSI is preparing for a big unveil of its next-generation high-end SKUs under a new brand: SUPRIM. These cards will be officially announced by MSI on November 20th. For now, there is an embargo, and any type of public exposure is not allowed.

The graphics cards from the SUPRIM series have been leaking onto the web for the past 2 weeks quite extensively. The latest leak comes from Hitman Tan, who made a public unboxing of the RTX 3080 model.

Based on the materials that we have (which are still under embargo), the SUPRIM series is equipped with a TRI FROZS 2S cooling solution. This thermal design features Torx Fan 4.0, Core Pipe, Copper Baseplate, Close Quarters Heatpipe & Heatsink, and Airflow Control (Wave-Curved fin edges).

Compared to the MSI GAMING X TRIO series, the SUPRIM features an aluminum backplate. The graphics card features a dual-BIOS switch with two settings: Silent and Gaming.
