MSI AI laptop series to feature Intel Meteor Lake
Today, some retailer listings, as uncovered by hardware investigator @momomo_us, have confirmed that the upcoming Intel Meteor Lake processor series is set to drive MSI’s AI laptops. These laptops are said to be launched next month.
The revealed list indicates that MSI is gearing up to introduce a range of 13.3″ and 16-inch laptop series, all united by their “AI” labeling and a distinct focus on content creation. MSI, known for its existing Prestige, Stealth, and Creator Pro laptops designed for mobile workstations and advanced content creation, appears to be expanding its offerings.
Notably, certain models bear the designation “Studio,” emphasizing their focus on creative applications, multitasking, and delivering power and precision. It’s worth noting that MSI already features a lineup of systems powered by Intel Core i9-13900H and RTX 4070 graphics tailored for such creative pursuits. Thus, it is likely that some systems will also be paired with powerful discrete GPUs later.

The upcoming successor, named the Core Ultra 100H series, is expected to feature more cores and hopefully offer increased power. Notably, there’s no indication of any Core Ultra 9 SKU being in the works for the ‘launch’ laptops, with the highest identified specification currently being the Core Ultra 7 155H. These systems are affirmed to incorporate Arc Graphics directly integrated into the processor.
