Spy pictures from TechPowerUP’s coverage of Computex have revealed MSI’s upcoming Threadripper motherboard.

MSI X399 MEG Creation

The interesting part is that we get a new X399 motherboard right before Threadripper 2000 is expected. Some say it’s because there won’t be X499 motherboards and manufacturers are to use existing X399 chipset instead.

MSI has new X399 motherboard called MEG Creation. It’s a 19-phase VRM design with dual 8-pin EPS connector.

It was designed with M.2 devices in mind, hence it supports up to 7 storage devices using this interface.
