MaxSun RTX 4090 MegaGamer
The Chinese company launched a new RTX 4090 featuring a large cooler with five fans.
MaxSun recently introduced its Mega Gamer (MGG) series, debuting with the RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 Ti SKUs a few months ago. These graphics cards showcase a truly distinctive design from MaxSun, a company often associated with funny product names like “Terminator” and “McDonald’s”.
One of the standout features is the cooling system, maintaining a compact 3-slot height while incorporating a total of five fans. Interestingly, two of these smaller fans, known as “Air Boost,” are discreetly situated on the side. While the larger 10cm and 11cm fans efficiently direct air onto a large cooler, the smaller fans are designed to draw heat away.

Upon closer examination, it becomes evident that the latest addition to the MGG family, the RTX 4090, will share the same cooling solution as the RTX 4080. Both cards will utilize an identical cooler boasting 7000 mm² of heat dissipation surface area and a comprehensive cover vapor chamber.
Another feature is the detachable USB-powered screen. This screen is an array of LEDs that users can customize, allowing for the addition of personalized text or graphics, further enhancing the card’s uniqueness in terms of design.
The RTX 4090 MGG comes as a factory-overclocked edition, boasting a boost clock of 2580 MHz, marking a 2.4% overclock from its base specifications. Notably, the card is officially rated with a 450W TDP, and there’s no mention of any alterations to the power limits.
Typically, MaxSun GPUs primarily find their way to the Chinese domestic market, but they can also be located on global e-commerce platforms such as Aliexpress. Regrettably, as of now, the company has yet to update its official store with RTX 40 series models. This suggests that the RTX 4090 MGG may likely remain an exclusive offering available only in China.
