NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 is coming
This week manufacturers have been adding more cards and its details to their websites. We decided to check what has changed and what new information has been provided.
Inno3D GeForce RTX 3070 Series
Starting with the fastest RTX 3070. Inno3D is launching two RTX 3070 from the iChill series. Both cards will feature the exact same PCB design and the exact same GPU clock speed of 1785 MHz. The iChill X3 and iChill X4 cards only have a small (visual) difference which is an additional (fourth) fan on the side on the X4 variant.
Apart from this tiny detail, both cards are essentially the same with a dual 8-pin power connector, 3-slot design, and 30cm length. Inno3D is one of the very few manufacturers to confirm the TDP of their cards – 240W, which is 20W above the NVIDIA specs.

EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 Series
The specifications of the RTX 3070 EVGA series are still unknown, but we do have pictures of the four SKUs the manufacturer is rolling out soon. Similarly to RTX 3090 and 3080 series, we get FTW3 Ultra, XC3 Ultra, XC3, and XC3 Black.
All these cards feature dual 8-pin power connectors and triple-fan cooling solutions. The FTW3 model is a triple-slot design, while XC3 keeps it at 2-slots. In case you are wondering about the differences between XC3 models, the Black model lacks a backplate while Ultra is a higher clocked version of the ‘original’ XC3.

Gainward GeForce RTX 3070 Series
Gainward unveiled the full details on its Phoenix series. There are two SKUs: Phoenix and Phoenix GS (which stands for Golden Sample). The GS model features a boost clock of 1770 MHz with a TGP set to 240W.
Both cards are 2.7-slot and triple-fan design with dual 8-pin power connectors. The Phoenix series features a standard display output configuration of 1x HDMI 2.1 and three DisplayPort 1.4a.
What is kind of interesting is that Gainward RTX 3070 series have a different backplate than RTX3090/3080 models. Unlike the GA102 based cards, the GA104 model comes with a black backplate, which definitely looks better than a brown version.

Colorful GeForce RTX 3070 Series
Colorful revealed three designs based on GA104 GPU. Compared to the RTX 3080/3090 series the RTX 3070 will lack (at least for now) the Vulcan X series. Instead, we are getting: Battle Ax, Advanced, and Ultra.
COLORFUL Ultra, Advanced and BattleAx RTX 3070 series
Colorful RTX 3070 iGame Ultra OC is a factory-overclocked model, but the manufacturer is yet to provide the details on frequencies. It’s a triple-fan design with a length of 31 cm and a weight of 1.2 kg.

The iGame Advanced is an even longer card (31.5cm) and weighs 200g more than Ultra. This is the top tier model until Colorful releases Vulcan X.

Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3070 Series
Gigabyte has recently updated the webpage for its RTX 3070 AORUS Master. The specifications were not revealed yet, but we now have a few more renders of the model.
The card features an unusual display output configuration with three DisplayPort 1.4 and three HDMI 2.1. There have been some reports that Gigabyte RTX 3080 Aorus Master may not support the HDMI 2.1 standard on all outputs, and that the BIOS has lower than expected power limit settings, but it is believed that Gigabyte will issue a new BIOS for that model. Hopefully, the RTX 3070 Aorus Master will not have any such problems at launch.

MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Series
MSI already unveiled its RTX 3070 series, with a lot more SKUs coming (according to leaked EEC listings). Over the past week, MSI updated the specs of just one model – the GAMING TRIO (non-X) – which will ship with a 1770 MHz boost clock, according to MSI.
The MSI RTX 3070 Gaming Trio is one of the largest RTX 3070 designs yet. This card measures 32.3 cm in length and requires three slots. The card is 1.4kg heavy and will even ship with a GPU support bracket (a very unusual accessory for an MSI card).

The manufacturer also added two more photos to the website, which we are attaching below:
ASUS GeForce RTX 3070 Series
We only have a small update to the ASUS RTX 3070 series. The manufacture has confirmed the specs of its non-OC model. That being said, we can now confirm that ROG STRIX, TUF, and DUAL series all feature the same boost clocks up to 1755 MHz.
Now, this is not the clock speed that will be available out of the box. ASUS requires you to download GPU Tweak software that will automatically apply such a frequency when the system starts.
ASUS has not yet confirmed the specs of its OC models.
