Lenovo Legion Y9000K 2021 Exploration Edition, the perfect laptop right before Alder Lake
Lenovo is doing a mid-series product refresh with a new flagship laptop design.

It should be noted that Legion Y9000K Exploration Edition is not based on the Intel 12th Gen Core series, although we are likely just 3 months away from said CPU series announcement. The updated Y9000K is more or less a Legion 7i refresh with liquid metal and an even higher-quality screen.
The laptop is equipped with Tiger Lake-H(45) Intel Core i7-1800H 8-core CPU. It will be offered with three GPU options: RTX 3060, RTX 3070, and RTX 3080, none of which is the rumored SUPER variant. What is mentioned though that all these GPUs are running at maximum TDP (so-called Max-P variants).

The Y9000K Exploration Edition offers a 16:10 screen with a 92% body to screen ratio. This is a 2560×1600 resolution screen with a 165 Hz refresh rate and 500 nits, such specs are reported by Gizmondo. However, the company has just teased that the laptop will (also?) be offered with a Mini-LED display with 1250 nits of brightness, DisplayHDR1000 certification, and 1152 diming zones. It would therefore combine all the features gamers and content creators want.

Lenovo has not yet confirmed the launch date of its new Y9000K laptop. The company has neither confirmed if this model will be available outside China, which appears to be the primary market for this model.
