Intel 13th Gen Core in first MiniPC

Lenovo announces first products based on next-gen Intel hardware.

Lenovo IdeaCentre Mini (1L,8) will ship with either 12-core Core i5-13500H or 14-core Core i7-13700H processor. These are the latest processors that are actually supposed to launch next month. However, Lenovo just couldn’t wait this long.

The company was somewhat absent from the compact Mini-PC market. The last IdeaCentre Mini device was based on the 10th Gen Core series, so Lenovo is returning to the market with a much more capable system after a few years.

This product is designed for content creation and entertainment. It is powered by 13th Gen Core Intel CPU series with built-in Iris Xe graphics, there is however no discrete GPU in this system.

The Mini-PC has support for up to two SODIMM DDR4 memory and up to 2 Gen4 SSDs. It has strong connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 6, 2.5G LAN, Thunderbolt 4.0 and HDMI 2.1/DisplayPort 1.4b.

The Ideacentre Mini is a 1 liter system with a size of 19.5 × 19.1 × 3.9 cm. It weights 1.8kg, but it is important to note that this system has a built-in 150W power supply. This is often not the case with many modern Mini-PCs, even those designed by Intel for the NUC Pro series.
