A limited RTX+ARC promotion from Japan

Japanese retailer NTT-X is planning to give away Intel GPUs with select purchases of RTX 4090 graphics. This promotion will be limited in quantity to just five units. However, it is a fact that we rarely see such bundles that include two cards.

According to the report from Japanese media, the promotion will apply to ASUS RTX 4090 TUF Gaming OC, a very popular model of the flagship NVIDIA GPU. The retailer is to offer free Intel Arc A750 Limited Edition to first 5 customers on April 30 starting from 23:00 local time.

Such a low number of cards will almost certainly guarantee that only bots will acquire these bundles, but then they will be stuck with RTX 4090 GPUs which are that easy to sell anymore.

What could be a use case for a dual-GPU config featuring ARC and RTX GPUs in one system? Probably not a good pair considering some gamers use Arc GPUs as powerful video encoders for their main GPUs, but in the case of RTX 4090, this card already has powerful H264 or AV1 encoders.

The Arc A750 GPU has been price adjusted in February to just $279, making it one of the most popular GPUs at this budget. In fact, Intel GPUs are now leading the popularity on the retail platform:
