Intel Arc A380 custom card debuts at 3999 RMB

GUNNIR Arc A380 Photon is the world’s first custom graphics card based on Intel Xe-HPG/DG2 architecture. This model has just gone on sale in China.

The Photon graphics card is a custom design with dual-fan cooling solution. This model is factory-overclocked with boost up to 2450 MHz and increased TDP to 92W (from 75W). On Intel JD webstore one can find GUNNIR graphics card listed at 3999 RMB (~595 USD) with VAT. This offer is currently unavailable as the item is sold out and waiting for shipment.

Just yesterday we reported that A380 official reference specs have changed. Intel quietly updated its website to list 15.5 Gbps memory instead of 16 Gbps as it was declared on launch date. This means that the GUNNIR card has reference memory specs after all.

Interestingly, Intel confirmed that Arc A380 desktop graphics card launch in June is limited to pre-built systems only. Furthermore, one can only buy A380 GPUs through Chinese JD.com website, as officially no other store is allowed to sell these cards yet.

For the inital launch in China for June 2022, customers can get a pre-built system with Arc exclusively through JD.com, who has a warranty page.

Therefore, the offer above already goes out of bounds of the Intel announcement, as this card is sold separately. There are no other offers with A380 currently available, which means there is no other way to purchase A380 at 1030 RMB (the official MSRP in China).
