Intel XeSS gains ground

Intel has proudly announced that its XeSS upscaling technology has now been enabled in over 50 titles.

The rapid adoption of Intel XeSS within the gaming industry speaks volumes about its impact. With over 50 games now featuring XeSS support, including both new releases and existing titles, the technology has established itself as a worthy contender against NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR featuring similar upscaling technology.

Some of the notable titles that have integrated XeSS include popular franchises such as “Cyberpunk 2077,” “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla,” and “Control,” among others. The tech was also recently added to Diablo IV. The inclusion of XeSS in these high-profile games showcases the trust developers have placed in Intel’s upscaling solution to enhance their players’ visual experiences. Intel XeSS is clearly here to stay.

The competition for XeSS is strong. NVIDIA has just reached over 300 games and applications that support DLSS1 and 2 and over 30 with DLSS3, while AMD is quickly gaining support from game developers with over 200 games and 100 games supporting newer FSR2 technology.

According to Intel, there are now 64 games and applications that support XeSS or will eventually support it once the software is released.
