Intel to announce the 10th Gen Core Series on April 30?

According to El Chapuzas Informatico, Intel’s upcoming 10th Gen Core series is currently expected on April 30. The date is only for the announcement of the series. The CPU maker is expected to launch the product at a later date.

The site claims that the reviews of the Comet Lake-S CPUs will be posted in May. The same (yet undisclosed) date will be associated with Intel 400-series motherboard reviews (for instance the Z490).

If this rumor is correct, then it means Intel will announce both desktop and mobile mainstream series in the same month, as Comet Lake-H is expected already next week, on April 2nd.

The 10th Gen Core-S series will feature up to 10-cores and clock speeds up to 5.3 GHz (thermal velocity boost), earlier leaks revealed.

The 400-series motherboards and Comet Lake-S CPUs will feature a new LGA1200 socket, so the CPUs will be incompatible with any currently offered Intel processors.
